What is Preposition
A preposition is a word that connects nouns, pronouns and phrases to the other words in a sentence.

Types of Preposition
Types of preposition Generally there is two types of preposition on the basis of their formation.
(i) Simple preposition and (ii) Compound preposition.
Simple Preposition
example: at, in, on, by, with, of, from, for, to, above, over, before, under, against etc.
Compound Preposition
example: into, onto, upon, within, without, throughout etc.
